At Stanton Logistics we are transport people delivering a comprehensive transport service
Stanton Logistics is a transport company established in 2007, we operate from a secure 3 acre site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire with a 21 bay cross dock warehouse facility and concrete yard area which is monitored by a 24 camera security system and has keypad entry for all gates and office doors.
Today we operate over 70 heavy goods vehicles and trailers covering the whole of the United Kingdom and employ over 150 staff. we offer a 24 hour, 7 day service from our head office in Rotherham. Our transport office is manned by our team at all times, this gives us the flexibility to change plans, react to our customers needs and pay particular attention to time sensitive deliveries day or night.
We are also proud members of the Fortec and UPN pallet networks, so can handle all pallets from 0.5m to 4m in length and weighing upto 1,250kgs.
Our fleet consists of 55x 44 tonne Tractor Units, 14x 18 tonne rigids, 2x 26 tonne rigids, 1x 12 tonne rigid, 4x vans, 33x temperature controlled box trailers, 35x curtainside trailers, 3x urban curtainsiders, 5x double deck curtainside trailers, 1x temperature controlled double deck box trailer and a covered single car transporter. We also have 3x Moffet Mounty forklifts, 1 on the rear of a 13.6m trailer, 1 on the rear of a 10m urban trailer and the other on the rear of a 26 tonne rigid.
All our vehicles are fitted with the latest telematics and 360 camera equipment, which monitors the drivers performance for harsh braking, harsh accelerating and harsh turning. The system also measures fuel efficiency and provides live tracking information to our transport desk.
Stanton Logistics are currently embarking on a programme to reduce our carbon footprint, this is being done in two ways. Firstly, we are investing in our driver training programme to promote safe and fuel efficient driving which includes measuring, monitoring and retraining all of our driving staff. Secondly we have a strict vehicle procurement policy to continually update our fleet to the latest specification of Euro emission engines.
The business is currently embarking on an expansion to increase turnover by 25% over the next 2 years. This is to be acheived by orgainc growth with our current customers and entry into new markets not yet explored.
